Polar Explorers Received Custom-Made Jackets for Testing

Members of this year’s polar expedition wearing the new jackets together with the head of the Czech Antarctic Research Programme, Daniel Nývlt and the founder of the Czech research station in Antarctica, emeritus professor at the Department of Geography MU, Pavel Prošek.

This year’s Antarctic expedition members received jackets made by the Czech manufacturer of outdoor clothing, the Faramugo company. These specially made jackets will be used as the top layer clothing for outdoor activities. The company representatives informed the explorers about the product’s qualities and maintenance. This product will apply for the “Tested in Antarctica” trademark. The event took place on 19 November 2021.
